This great 17 disc set (8 doubles and 1 single) is not an attempt to release the complete Get Back Sessions. That would take far more CDs and that's what Yellow Dog is doing at the moment releasing more and more volumes of their Day By Day Series (although it looks like they are concentrating on the Nagra tapes for camera A only). This set is fantastic in it's own right bringing us all the listenable songs played at Twickenham and Apple from 2 to 31 January 1969 rather than the fragments and dialogue we get to hear on other boots. Good performances of your favorite 'Let It Be' tracks can be heard next to covers of all those contemporary songs the Fab 4 played in their early days. I'm playing these CDs over and over again because although there's a lot of stuff that has already been available it's more complete and in a better sound quality here and also these discs bring us quite some newly discovered tracks. A must have!
