With fans screaming in the background, the Fabs describe life in the first flush of fame. Ringo muses on how he narrowly escaped a dead-end life in Liverpool. The Caroll James Interview (Caroll James CJEP-3301) side 1 8 Febr. 1964, Studio 50, New York, NY: DJ Caroll James of WWBC, Washington DC explains how "I Want To Hold Your Hand" made it onto US radio thanks to a listener's tip and the kindness of a BOAC stewardess. He presents an interview with George (and Dizzy Gillespie) after a rehearsal for Ed Sullivan.

13 Sept. 64, Civic Center, Baltimore, MD: In the midst of the first American tour, James catches up with Paul and Ringo in Baltimore where thet discuss songwriting.

Yeah Yeah Yeah (Beatles Unlimited WQAM-580) side 2 21 Febr 1964, Deauville Hotel, Miami, FL: An excerpt from an open-end interview with George via telephone, originally conducted and distributed by Ed Rudy, this time delivered on the air by DJ Charlie Murdoch. George describes their reception in Miami, the origin of the group's name and the girl of his dreams.

Paul has no plans to marry Jane Asher, George accepts credit for inventing the Beatles' haircuts, Ringo explains the rings and John didn't realize Cynthia had appeared on U.S. television in this uneventful encounter. 8:14

(Beat Crazy PROMO 002) side 1 5 June 1964 Cafe-restaurant Treslong, Vosselaan, Hillegom, Netherlands: On a swing through northern Europe on their way to Australia, the Beatles are in good humor as Herman Stok (Dutch) and Berend Boudewijn (English) field questions from an audience of 150 fans during a pre-show event. John introduces himself as John Leper, Jimmy Nichol lets down his guard and says replacing Ringo isn't too difficult. 6:13
