Free As A Bird is an excellent CD containing a lot of John's last demos.
Songs recorded at the Dakota, NYC. As we all know two of those demos were
used by Paul, George and Ringo as a frame for two 'new' Beatles songs, hence
the subtitle of this bootleg-CD. I doubt Yoko and Capitol/EMI could do a better
job releasing these demos. The Pegboy (Vigotone) people used very good tape
sources for this CD and documented all the tracks in a very nice way. The
booklet is really informative and includes some good 'relevant' pictures.
A must have ! Unfortunately the CD is hard to find and if you come across a
copy you'll be paying a lot for it. (I payed 60 Dutch guilders).
