A mixed bag, like the other Hodge Podge CDs. This new Black Dog release does have some interesting tracks though, some of these were available before on home-made CD-Rs or through tape-trading collectors. Time will tell if the tracks on this CD are presented in the best available quality, to my opinion some could be upgraded in the (near) future.

I didn't research every track (if you know more please tell me!) but here are some of my thoughts:

1. Excellent! Take 8 is a breakdown, Paul practices the bass notes for the 'When I'm Home.." bit. Take 9 is complete without the solo overdub.

2, 3, 4 These acetate versions feature a count-in and some pre-song noise.

5. Which drop-out?

6, 7 Mono mixes....

8. Didn't we already have the complete version on Yellow Dog's 'Complete Christmas Collection?'

9. Indeed an early mix, interesting, lots of pops and cracks though.

10. Superfluous I guess because it's the well known track with the voice over by Wolfman Jack.

11, 12 This material is on the 3rd Mythology set too. I didn't have the time to compare it yet.

13, 14 These tracks have different beginnings. The sound of track 14 is better.

15. Nothing new here I guess...

16. Fake!

17. A medley of the commercially available versions.

18, 19 Fixed to sound like a 'monitor mix,' sometimes you hear the demo, sometimes the 'produced' version.
