This great disc by Strawberry Records (a subsidiary of Yellow Dog) surprised all George Harrison fans when it came out in 1994. We hear George presenting his 'All Things Must Pass-songs' to Phil Spector for the first time in early 1970. He performs most of them on acoustic guitar and comments the songs every now and then ("Phil, this is the one, Window window, and it's a bit silly").
Some of these songs were played by George during the Get Back Sessions (Window Window, Let It Down and Hear Me Lord) and were probably rejected by the other Beatles although we now know (All Things Must Pass, part 1: electric set - Yellow Dog records) that George was planning to make a solo album back then. Other songs on this CD were never released officially. (Beautiful Girl was released in 1976 on the LP '33 1/3 and the Dylan song I Don't Wanna Do It was included in the soundtrack of Porky's Revenge in 1985).
